PURPOSE: To receive engraving cutters in a lid body without dropping down the engraving cutters when the lid body is opened carelessly with an opening set to the underside.

CONSTITUTION: Support pieces 15, 15 projecting in parallel along a case body 1 from both left and right side walls 13, 13 are provided in the rear end opening 9 of the case body 1, and slots 16, 16 are provided respectively between both left and right side walls 13, 13 and the respective support pieces 15, 15. On the other hand, projections 23, 23 are provided respectively on both left and right side walls 22, 22 of the lid body 21 and provided on the inside thereof with lugs 24, 24 inserted in the respective slots 16, 16 and slidable in the respective slots 16, 16 while the lid body 21 is pivoted about the rear end of the slot so that respective engraving cutters can freely be put in and out of the case body 1.
