The engraving device includes an engraving head 30 for engraving the engraving object 100 by use of an engraving pin 33, in which an engraving pattern is formed by a plurality of engraved portions successively engraved by the engraving head 30. The cassette member 40 having a housing section 42 for housing a film tape 41 and a feeding mechanism 43 for continuously feeding the film tape 41 in a tensed manner is detachably attached to the engraving device. The surface of the engraving object 100 is engraved through the film tape 41 fed to between the tip of the engraving pin 33 and the engraving object 100 in the tensed manner.
