Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect such breakage as fine leakage of fine pin hole, etc., of a tuyere at a high precision in an early time.
SOLUTION: In the detecting method of breakage of the tuyere 2 by detecting difference between the outputs (differential flow rate) of flow meters 5, 11 set at a water supplying pipe 3 and a drainage pipe 9 in each cooling water system for the tuyere 2, respectively, when the differential flow rate exceeds a preset value, a correlation between the differential pressure of a furnace pressure by changing the water supplying pressure and the differential flow rate of the cooling water of this time, is obtd. It is diagnosed which is this differential flow rate caused by the breakage of the tuyere 2 or the meter error from this correlation and also, in the case of breaking the tuyere 2, the estimation of a diameter of the breakage is executed to grasp the concrete breaking condition at the high precision.
