PURPOSE: To mechanize the management for the total number of entered persons by setting a control method at a center device for propriety of the entrance in reference to a card type entrance processor.

CONSTITUTION: A card type entrance processor 1 consists of a single center device 2 and one or more card type gate devices 3. The device 2 includes a setting means 21 which sets the value to decide the propriety of the entrance and a transmitter device 22 which transmits the value set by the means 21. Meanwhile the device 3 includes a receiver means 31 which receives and stores the set value, a card receiver means 32 which reads the data on the card inserted by a customer, and a comparator means 33 which compares the set value with the data. Thus the propriety of entrance is controlled based on the comparing result of the means 33.
