Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable an automobile to ingress into an elevated road by installing an elevator ascending/descending between the elevated road and a road on the ground, at a cutout position in the medial strip of the elevated road, so as to communicate between the elevated road and the road on the ground within a small space. CONSTITUTION: Pairs of partition walls 7a to 7e are provided at a cutout position in the median strip 7 of an elevated road 2 with openings through which automobiles 9a, 9b, 10a, 10b can pass and which are defined between the trailing edges of the partition walls 7a on extensions of both longitudinal edges of the median strip 7. Then blocking walls 7x, 7y block one of the openings on the out-going line 2a side and the in-coming line 2b side, and elevators 31, 32 adapted to ascend and descend between the elevated road 2 and the ground to enable ingress and egress of the automobiles 9a to 10b into and from the elevated road is provided between the partition walls 7a to 7e.
