Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide entrapment detecting sensor and open/close body control device capable of preventing erroneous detection of entrapment.SOLUTION: A window glass 3 is provided with a capacitive type entrapment detecting sensor 14 (sensor electrode 18) capable of detecting an approach or a contact of an object. When the capacitance of the sensor electrode 18 increases in an operation (raising operation) of the window glass 3, the window glass 3 is inverted to prevent entrapment. The entrapment detecting sensor 14 includes: a sensor electrode 18; a shield electrode 22 that restricts the directionality sensor electrode 18; a dummy electrode 23 which is disposed between the sensor electrode 18 and the shield electrode 22 and is set to a same potential as that of the sensor electrode 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
