Abstract:
To reliably track an object to be tracked on images sequentially acquired over time.SOLUTION: A vehicle management apparatus executes the following processing (a) to (c): (a) processing for sequentially acquiring image frames over time; (b) processing for tracking a vehicle for the image frames that are acquired sequentially over time; and (c) processing for determining that the vehicle has entered a parking lot which is a close area adjacent to a second area or the vehicle has exited the parking lot based on a displacement evaluation amount of the vehicle from an appearance position where the vehicle has appeared to the latest position if the vehicle appears in an entry and exit detection range 42 (a first area) indicated by each image frame or an area (a second area) outside the entry and exit detection range 42 and the latest position of the vehicle is in the second area or the first area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
