To make the whole of an envelope including a window, in relation to the envelope having the transparent window, by using recycled paper, and to provide an envelope capable of hiding part of a content on the transparent window.
The envelope 1 is made of a single successive piece of recycled paper. It has a first opaque region 11 where the recycled paper is not transparentized, a transparent window region 12 transparentized by impregnating the recycled paper with a water-soluble transparentizing agent, and an opaque island region 13 which is a second opaque region where the recycled paper is not transparentized, formed in part inside the transparent window region 12 independently from the first opaque region 11 for hiding part of the content enclosed in the envelope 1. An outline of the opaque island region 13 is related to contents printed on the content 2 comprising printed matter to be enclosed in the envelope 1.
