To propose an environment testing device allowing the temperature of a testing object to quickly reach a prescribed temperature by uniformly cooling or heating the testing object without nonuniformity of temperature and capable of stabilizing the testing object in that state.
This environment testing device 1 cools or heats the testing object 5 placed on a work placing stage 6 in a testing tank by circulating temperature-controlled air formed by a temperature control mechanism 4 in the testing tank 3, and at the same time, directly cools or heats the testing object 5 by heat transfer from a heat accumulating part 61 of the work placing stage 6. Thus, the temperature of the testing object 5 quickly reaches a prescribed test temperature, and moves into a prescribed testing temperature state without nonuniformity of the temperature because of being uniformly cooled or heated as a whole.
