When an object to be evaluated is held at an object holding part 1 and the material name of the object is inputted into a material name input part 3, the weight of the object is automatically measured by a weight measuring part 2. An environmental load evaluating part 5 searches an original unit data for the material name inputted from an original unit data accumulation part 4 and aggregates the data and the results of measurement from the weight measuring part 2. The results are displayed on an environmental load evaluation results display part 6.
