Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmentally adaptive type image display system which is capable of conducting corrections for an image in a shorter time, a method for processing image and an information storage medium.
SOLUTION: A Y value of color signals (Y3, x3 and y3), which are measured by a color light sensor 60 and converted by a Y3x3y3 converting section 143, is replaced by Y1, which is the Y value in an ideal environment, in a Y replacing section 142. Then, a color difference between a replaced color signals (Y1, x3 and y3) and ideal color signals (Y1, x1 and y1) is obtained by a color difference computing section 145. When the color difference is not in an allowable correction range, the color difference is corrected by an environment subjectivity coefficient correction section 148 and image display information is corrected by using a corrected color difference (Δx' and Δy').
