Abstract:
To provide methods for the design, synthesis and use of a catalytic DNA molecule cleaving nucleotides.
Deoxyribonucleic acid enzymes, i.e. catalytic or enzymatic DNA molecules can cleave nucleic acid sequences or molecules, particularly RNA, in a site-specific manner, as well as compositions including the enzyme. Methods of making and using the disclosed enzymes and compositions are also provided.
