Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a composition that comprises an epoxidized novolak and a specific organic phosphorus compound at a specified ratio, and is excellent in flame retardance, stability, heat resistance and mechanical strength and useful for encapsulating electronic parts, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The object composition comprises (A) an epoxidized novolack and (B) 0.1-10 pts.(wt.), based on 100 pts. component (A), one or more compounds represented by formula I (wherein, X1 is Cl, Br; X2 is H, Cl, Br; Y is O, S; R1, R2 are each a 1-4C alkyl; R3, R4 are each a group of formula II, and join to form a group of formula III).
