PURPOSE: To change the type of product to another type of a desired size without detaching a forming roll and a spacer, by using a specific set collar when the type of product is changed by an arbor method in roll forming of shape steel, etc.
CONSTITUTION: When a type of product is changed from channel steel 10-A to channel steel 10-B in roll forming of a strip steel a roll 1A is inserted into an arbor 11 and, at the same time, is held by a dimension fixing set collar 30 and a fastening set collar 20. Both the set collars have projections on the inner circumference, respecitvely, and the projections slide in grooves 13-1 and 13-2 installed in the direction of the circumference and the axis of the arbor 11. When the type of steel is changed from 10-A to 10-B, a fastening nut 25 is loosened and the projection 20 of the set collar 20 is rotated along the groove 13 in the direction of the circumference of the arbor 11. Then, the projection 21 is fitted into a groove 12 and slided in the groove 12. Thus, the roll 1a can be moved in the direction of the axis of the arbor 11. Then, the roll 1A is fixed, by fixing the projection of the set collar 30 in the groove 13 in the direction of the circumference of the channel steel 10-B.
