To provide equipment for drying organic matters which does not necessitate a large amount of materials of high heat resistance for manufacturing a heating chamber and makes the manufacturing cost of the equipment itself inexpensive, while saving on a space and safely sterilizing, drying and carbonizing a treatment object.
The treatment object is put on a conveyor 2 and moved and it is exposed to a microwave from a plurality of heating chambers 31 provided corresponding to the course of movement of the conveyor 2. Therefore, a liquid substance contained in the treatment object is made to be of high temperature and evaporated gradually under the irradiation of the microwave each time when the object passes through each of the heating chambers 31 and thus the object is dried and carbonized, while the object is sterilized by the heat penetrating thereinto.
