Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus such as a copying machine, etc., having a service outlet which can take out a prescribed required voltage and be stopped to avoid an accident, even if it is used in an area where a power supply voltage is significantly different or if a power supply voltage fluctuates. SOLUTION: A voltage at a prescribed position between a transformer 5 and a service outlet 7 is detected by a voltage detecting means 8. Control means 23-26 and 6 compare the voltage detected by the voltage detecting means 8 with a predetermined reference voltage and control the power supplied to the service outlet 7 so as to have the voltage within an allowable range. If the voltage is out of the allowable range despite the control, the power supplied to the service outlet 7 is cut off.
