Abstract:

To provide equipment for excavation for making a site concrete pile so as to utilize boring or discharge techniques according to the requirement for excavation of a diameter of from 0.3-1.2 m, preferably 0.4-0.8 m.

This equipment comprises a first auger 12 including a web 14 ending at the fore end part 16 having an outside diameter not exceeding the outside diameter of the web, a second auger 26 including a hollow web 28 to which the first auger is fitted in the form of advancing side by side therewith freely, a first boring head 18 for rotating the first auger and applying a vertical force thereto, means 20 and 22 for controlling the rotational speed, torque and vertical force applied to the first auger, a second boring head 30 being provided for rotating the second auger and applying the vertical force thereto and independent of the first head, means 34 and 36 for controlling the rotational speed, torque and vertical force applied to the second auger and means 24 and 40 for measuring the effective approach speeds of the first and second augers.
