Abstract:
Apparatus is described for surface finishing complex and simple surface shapes by abrasion of select zones of the surface, leaving contiguous zones unfinished. The apparatus (50) is simple in construction and requires little in training for operation. The apparatus (50) includes an abrasive surface (32), which in cross-sectional profile is negative image of the surface zone (20) to be abraded or finished.
