To automatically update information on apparatuses.SOLUTION: An apparatus management device 10 includes: a first communication unit 11 for receiving apparatus specific information, information specific to each apparatus 20, from one or more apparatuses located within a management area; a storage unit 14 for storing apparatus attachment information, information associated with the arrangement location of each apparatus 20; a control unit 15 for determining whether there is a newly disposed apparatus 20 within the management area and updating the apparatus attachment information when it is determined that there is a newly disposed apparatus 20; and a second communication unit 12 for transmitting the apparatus specific information and the apparatus attachment information to a server 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
