Abstract:
PURPOSE: To extinguish current by a constant extinction voltage that does not depend on a battery voltage in an electromagnetic load by providing a means for controlling a switching means during a breaking process and applying a specific voltage to a load during the period of the breaking process due to control. CONSTITUTION: A load 100 (for example, an inductive load) is connected between the ground and a battery voltage Ubat in series with a switching means 110. A terminal at the battery voltage Ubat is connected to a current source 120 via a connection point 101 and a connection point 102 between the load 100 and the switching means 110 is also connected to the current source 120. The switching means 110 is operated as a variable resistance instead of a switch during current extinction. Then, the load is broken or the switching means 110 is controlled so that a step-down voltage Um at the load becomes constant. The break time of the load is determined by the step-down voltage Um at the load.
