Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment and method for forming a metallic formed article with a cylindrical part integrated on the outer surface of a base part irrespective of the stock material with excellent economy, sophisticated workability, and excellent productivity.
SOLUTION: A part 27 to be worked of a based part equivalent part 29 in a stock metal 24 is concentrically held between a first die 16 and a second die 18, and integrally rotated, an outer circumferential surface 88 of a tapered roller 70 having the tapered shape whose diameter becomes gradually smaller from the second die 18 to the first die 16 is pressed against the part 27 to be worked of the stock metal which is integrally turned, the part 27 is torn from the stock metal 24 so as to be tapered, an outer circumferential surface 96 of a straight roller 72 of cylindrical shape is pressed against a torn part 26 of the part 27 which is torn and tapered, and the torn part 26 is held between the outer circumferential surface and the first die 16 so as to be formed cylindrical.
