Abstract:
To obtain a product of stable quality irrelevantly to changes in manufacturing conditions.
A support wire 11 and an optical cable 13 are united at a connection part 12, which has separation parts 18 formed intermittently along its length wherein the optical cable 13 slackened for the support wire 11 is manufactured. In this case, a temperature measurement instrument 31 measures the temperature of an intermediate product N, which has been cooled in a primary cooling water tank 30 and the distance between the entrance 30b and exist 30d of the primary cooling water tank 30 for the intermediate product N is varied according to the temperature measured value to adjust cooling conditions in the primary cooling water tank 30.
