Abstract:
The device (10) has a guide element (15) arranged between a supply segment (13) and an exit segment (14) within separation chamber (11) of housing (12). The guide element has a guide channel for guiding the tobacco rod through separation chamber. The guide channel of guide element is connected with separation chamber through opening, where the separation chamber has a larger cross-section than guide channel. The collection and discharging device is formed as passive separation device for collecting and discharging the idle particles of tobacco rod. An independent claim is included for a device for collecting and discharging idle powder/granular particles of tobacco rod.
