Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for setting and managing a timer efficiently among plural pieces of equipment in a system where plural pieces of AV equipment are connected by a bus.
SOLUTION: In the AV system in which various kinds of AV equipment such as a satellite broadcasting receiver 100, a recording and reproducing device 110 and a monitor 120 are connected by a control bus 10, time managing parts 105 and 115 are provided in each AV equipment, and the AV equipment to set and execute timer reservation acquires the time information of the other AV equipment to be operated while being interlocked at the time of executing this reservation and checks the presence/absence of any problem for executing this reservation. When there is any problem, it is reported and the request of time control is issued to the time information managing part 115 of the other AV equipment.
