PURPOSE: To prevent the descent of the front of an automobile, by supplying liquid pressure to the liquid pressure chamber of the lower part of a strut through a valve which is operated under braking.

CONSTITUTION: A third liquid pressure chamber 23 is defined in the lower part of a suspension strut 1. Pressurized liquid from a power steering pump 26 is circulated through the third liquid pressure chamber 23 and pipes 28, 29. A control valve 30 is closed depending on the braking pressure supplied from a master cylinder 31. At that time, liquid pressure is transmitted to the chamber 23 to apply an upward reaction force to the strut 1 to prevent the descent of the front of the automobile.
