Title:
EQUIPMENT FOR REMOVING DIOXINS IN FINE DUST
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004267831
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide dioxin decomposing equipment for gasifying and melting furnaces capable of being miniaturized and inexpensively produced by utilizing existing equipment, capable of remarkably reducing fuel consumption and requiring no special maintenance.

An exhaust gas is drawn out of a melting furnace 3 and a secondary combustion chamber 4 through a slag tap 9 and a trough 10 to be guided to an ash heater 12 and fly ash collected from a waste heat boiler 5, a fuel economizer 6, a cooling column 7 and a dust collector 8 is heated to a temperature suitable for thermally decomposing dioxins, or above, and subsequently quenched to a temperature of 100°C or below by an indirect cooler 13 to be made harmless. The exhaust gas is returned to the secondary combustion chamber 4 by an air blower 17 through a dust collector 15 for recovering the overflowing fly ash to be made to meet with the exhaust gas of the main system.
