Abstract:
The device comprises a vehicle-mounted pressure source for pressurised extinguishing fluid connected via a hose to a hand-held lance with a nozzle for generating a jet of fluid through a hole cut in a wall. A vessel for wearing on the back of the operator contains an additive for the fluid and is connected to the nozzle in order to deliver a controlled supply of the additive to the fluid so that cutting and/or extinguishing is enhanced.
