PURPOSE: To enable the low setting of a conveyor line for trays and a pallet and secure the positioning of the trays and the pallet, by stacking the trays on the pallet so that the succeeding tray is put under the preceding one and by unloading the trays beginning with the lowest one.
CONSTITUTION: In a tray stack/unload equipment including a tray elevator 67 such as a table lift 68, a tray supporter 22 having claws 4 which are engaged with a tray 2 and positioning units 107, 117 for positioning the tray and a pallet by pinching the side portions of the tray and the pallet are provided. The trays are stacked on the pallet so that the succeeding tray is put under the preceding one. The trays are unloaded from the pallet beginning with the lowest tray. According to this constitution, a conveyor line for the trays and the pallet can be set low, which is preferable for layout. Since the positioning of the trays and the pallet is secured, the work properties of the stacking and unloading are improved.
