Title:
EQUIPMENT TO FEED FIXED QUANTITY OF MOLTEN METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3650950
Kind Code:
B
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quantitative accuracy, rationalize molten metal sucking and feeding, and allow partial repairing of parts damaged by installing in parallel and connecting a receiving tank, an intermediate tank, and a feeding tank and connecting inert gas supplying/discharging pipes to the intermediate tank and the feeding tank which are closed tightly.
SOLUTION: When pressure in the intermediate tank 4 is reduced by discharging like an arrow 19 via the supply/discharge pipe 14 opened into the intermediate tank 4, a molten metal in the suction tank 3 flows into the intermediate tank like an arrow 20 via a suction pipe 8. When the molten metal in the intermediate tank 4 and the feeding tank 5 reach the highest level, an inert gas is supplied like an arrow 21 by switching the valve of the supply/discharge pipe 14 and the inert gas is also supplied from the supply/discharge pipe 15 like an arrow 22, and then the molten metal in the intermediate tank 4 and the feeding tank 5 are sent to such a requiring place as a mold 47 passing through the feeding pipe 13 like an arrow 25. In this case, accurately fixed quantity of the molten metal can be fed by controlling the inflow time of the inert gas.
