Abstract:
To reduce welding defects by accurately performing butt and pressure welding of edge portions of belt members.
With this equipment to produce thin-walled tubes, the outer periphery of a steel belt formed in a circular shape is restrained by a pair of seam guide rolls 20, and the edge portion of the belt is slid and guided by a tapered seam guide 19, and a squeeze roll 17 to pressure-weld the edge portion of the belt member is made a shaft integral without a hole by using ceramics, and its both ends are supported in a turnable way by bearings 16.
