In order to form the film of lubricant 11 on the surface of the guide shoe 1 before rolling is started, a long-distance spraying nozzle 2 capable of spraying the lubricant 11 long distance is provided at a side position of the guide shoe or near it. In order to continuously supply the lubricant 11 between the surface of the guide shoe 1 and the material to be rolled, a short- distance spraying nozzle 3 is provided at the upper end of the guide shoe 1. It is preferable that the long-distance spraying nozzle 2 is a single-hole nozzle and the short-distance spraying nozzle 3 is a multi-hole nozzle with multiple spraying holes separately arranged in parallel.
