Abstract:
An open tension ring (3) with a fixing section (5,7) at each end encloses two ring-shaped clamping jaws (11) which fit with their outer contour (12) against the ring and form a circular ring opening with their inner face (19). At least one spring-like member (15) is set between the clamping jaws to drive these apart and hold them secure in the ring. A tension member with at least two engagement sections engage against the fixing sections and tension the open ring to reduce its diameter. INdependent claims describe method for mounting and an arrangement where the fixing member is inside the clamping jaws to form a ring opening.
