Abstract:
Apparatus comprises mold halves (4a, 4b) with slides (11a, 11b, 12a, 12b) which close it at each end. A suction device (10) is mounted at the outlet end and an extruder head (2) for making a semi-finished tube (3) is mounted above the mold. The mold cavity (7) is sealed along its surface to prevent atmospheric air being sucked into it.
