PURPOSE: To easily match the face of a held segment to the face of an existing segment completed with the assembling of a ring and the face of an adjacent ring being currently assembled by matching the strokes of the right and left lift jacks.
CONSTITUTION: The pressure oil discharged from a power unit 1 is fed to the expansion side pressure chamber of a right lift jack 7 from a solenoid selector valve 4 to move both rod type pistons 7d in the expansion direction. The operating oil of the shrinkage side pressure chamber of the lift jack 7 is fed to the expansion side pressure chamber of a left lift jack 6 to move both rod type pistons 6d in the expansion direction. The operating oil of the shrinkage side pressure chamber of the lift jack 6 is returned to an oil tank 2 from the solenoid selector valve 4. The strokes of the right and left lift jacks 7, 6 are matched, and the face of a held segment 31 can be easily matched with the face of an existing segment 33 completed with the assembling of a ring and the face of an adjacent ring 32 being currently assembled.
