Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely generate electric power even in an erosion control dam having no drain hole.SOLUTION: An erosion control dam hydraulic power generating system comprises a catchment device for damming up and collecting a water flow of widely flowing down from above a dam, a chute for colliding with a water turbine by adding force to collected water, a power generator for generating electric power by suspending a frame for mounting the water turbine, a transmission and a generator on a cylindrical shaft installed by combining a girder spanned on both shores, a universal joint for adjusting a height of the water turbine, a water turbine position adjusting device for setting the direction of the water turbine by adjusting a position in the horizontal direction of the water turbine, a wood remover for deflecting drift wood flowed from the upstream side so as not to collide with the power generator, a water receiver for preventing generation of torque in the inverse direction in the water turbine, weakening force received from the water flow by rocking the power generator when a water level rises and floating the power generator on a water surface when the water level further rises and a resistance plate for providing further strong torque even from the water flow of starting to flow in a blade of the water turbine in response to rotation of the water turbine.
