To provide erroneous assembling preventive structure for a packing of which the attaching direction is regulated only to a normal attaching direction, and to prevent the packing from being assembled erroneously.
This erroneous assembling preventive structure for the packing is one for the annular packing 11 of sealing structure with the packing 11 attached to a peripheral groove 13 formed in an outer circumference of a cylindrical body 5. At least two protrusions 25 of different sizes non-point-symmetrically around an axis of the packing 11 as the center are projected toward unidirectionally along the axis, and cut-outs 37 fit into the respective protrusions 25 are extended from the peripheral groove 13 to be provided in the cylindrical body 5. A projected direction of the protrusions 25 is preferably the attaching direction of the packing 11 to the cylindrical body 5.
