Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erroneous meter reading detection device and an erroneous meter reading detection program that can detect erroneous meter reading without using a past record of amounts of power use.SOLUTION: An erroneous meter reading detection device photographs a disc 24 of a watthour meter 2 with a photographing unit 46 of a meter reading terminal 4 for a prescribed time, counts the number of rotations of the disc 24 from the obtained image (moving image), and calculates an amount of power use for the prescribed time on the basis of the counted number of rotations and a meter constant of the watthour meter 2. Then, it estimates an amount of power use for a prescribed period (for example, one month) from the amount of power use for the prescribed time, compares the estimated amount of power use for the prescribed period with the latest meter reading result, and determines whether erroneous meter reading has occurred to the latest meter reading result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
