Abstract:
To correct an error of the data waveform in which a data signal is phase-coded without adding a code for error correction.SOLUTION: In error pattern correspondence information 32, for each eight coding pattern that can be obtained by phase-coding three consecutive bits of a transmission signal, all error patterns obtained when an error has occurred in a portion corresponding to an error correction target bit which is subject to error correction, which is the middle bit of the three bits of a differential signal, are associated with each other. When a reception pattern is a unique pattern in error pattern correspondence information 32, an error correction unit 34 corrects a reception pattern to a coding pattern associated with the unique pattern in the error pattern correspondence information 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
