To provide an escalator cart, which can get on or get off an escalator to be fixed and elevated on the escalator without any operation conducted, and which automatically keeps a load-carrying platform in an almost horizontal state without using power, a changing device such as a clutch, and a control device such as a sensor.
In the escalator, a vehicle body is two-folded between a horizontal part 2 and a step part 3 to deform, and a step part 3 greatly incline to minimize the inclination of the load-carrying platform 1. As hands are released from a handle 20, a brake is operated, and when another cart is inserted to a preceding cart that is thus stopped, the brake of the preceding cart is canceled. In a block of a plurality of the carts combined with each other, all the caster wheels are grounded except for fixing wheels of the cart at the head.
