Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escalator comb plate that can remove a foreign matter present in a clearance between the comb plate and a movable foot step.SOLUTION: In a comb plate 4 of an escalator 1, a fulcrum 5, a spring 7, an electromagnet 6A, and an iron piece 6B are provided so that the comb plate has a structure of automatically opening and closing itself in vertical direction. Furthermore, the comb plate 4 has a structure of oscillating itself by intermittently energizing and de-energizing the electromagnet 6A repeatedly.
