Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escalator and a method for installing the same, high in work efficiency and remarkably shortening the work period.
SOLUTION: In an escalator wherein parts such as an upper frame 1, a plurality of intermediate frames 2, and a lower frame 3 are integratedly connected, hinges 4 are provided at every connection between them so that they may be provisionally assembled bendable as a whole, and then the whole is moved and suspended or pushed up to a prescribed position for installation.
