Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide escalator which can prevent entering to an entrance of an infant alone highly, and can permit entering to the entrance of the infant only when the infant is with an adult.SOLUTION: Escalator 10 has a gate 32 opening and closing an entrance 18p, and comprises: a platform gate device 30 provided with a platform 18; a first open operation unit 33 provided with the platform gate device 30; a second open operation unit 34 provided with a position lower than the first open operation unit 33 of the platform gate device 30; and a control unit 20 opening the gate 32 when the first open operation unit 33 and the second open operation unit 34 are operated at the same time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
