Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a lightweight escape ladder having high strength, to reduce a number of components and to make it possible to promote safety.

CONSTITUTION: Muntins 11 is formed of channel-shaped members. End grain closing sections 18 covering end grain openings are lent from the ends of the muntins 11 and are formed together as a unit on the ends of end grains of the muntins 11. The end grain closing sections 18 are constituted of base sections 18a bent so as to cover the end grain openings of the muntins 11 and bending pieces 18b bent so as to butt against the end grains of the muntins 11.
