Abstract:
To provide an escapement of a timepiece having less friction and which can be assembled simply by anyone.
Two rotating rods 5, 6 are provided within an escapement wheel 1 having gear teeth A2, B3, C4 attached inwardly. A stopper 7 is installed between the rods 5, 6 and has a pendulum 8. When the escapement wheel 1 is rotated by a spiral spring, the wheel 1 rotates at a fixed speed due to the actuation of the gear teeth A2, B3, C4, rods 5, 6, the stopper 7 and the pendulum 8, in matching with a rhythm of the pendulum 8.
