PURPOSE: To obtain esters and amides of substituted pyrrole acetic acids which are effective for inhibition and elimination of colonic polyps and are less in side effects.
CONSTITUTION: Compounds represented by formula I (n is 0, 1; X is a condensed phenyl ring; one of R1 and R2 is H, halogen, low alkyl and the other one is and/or non-substituted phenyl, benzil, thienyl or the like, m is n integer of 1 to 3, R3 is H, low alkyl; R4 is H, low alkyl, alkoxy or the like; P is an integer of 2 or more; Q is two or more of deprotonated residues of polymers or a body with a huge molecular structure having primary and/or secondary amine and/or OH; when n is O, R5 is H, low alkyl, alkoxy or the like) are, e.g. poly- N-[Cl-benzoyl-2-methyl-5-methoxy-3-indolyl)-acetyl]quinoxaline. The compounds represented by formula I of whcih the Q is OH-containing polymer being either of swelling or soluble in DMF are produced by a process represented by a reaction formula.
