To obtain a foam excellent in oil resistance, heat resistance and creep resistance by bonding a copolymer comprising a short chain polyester component and a long chain polyester component to a polyether composed of a specific recurring unit structure via a urethane bond component having a specific structure.
The title foam comprises an ester-based elastomer obtained by bonding a polyester-based copolymer (A) comprising 50-100 wt.% of a short chain polyester component represented by formula I and 50-0 wt.% of a long chain polyester component represented by formula II to a polyether (B) composed of a recurring unit represented by formula III via a urethane bond component (C) represented by formula IV. The contents of the components A, B and C are 100 pts.wt., 50-1,500 pts.wt. and 10-300 pts.wt., respectively. In the formulae, R0 is a 6-12C divalent aromatic hydrocarbon; R1 and R3 are each a 2-8C alkylene; R4 is a 2-15C alkylene or phenylene; and R2 is -R5-0-(wherein R5 is a 2-8C alkylene).
