Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ester compound with specific structure useful as a raw-material in the production of a functional polymer material that has an excellent processability (solvent dissolvability), rigidity and heat resistance, and has no problem in the safety of handling, and to provide a production process for the compound.SOLUTION: Provided is an ester compound represented by a general formula (1), and a production process for the compound; and a production process for the ester compound substituted with an amino group, including the reaction of the ester compound substituted with a nitro group with a hydrogen source preferably under the presence of a catalyst.
