Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a more accurate estimation value by using positioning information.SOLUTION: An estimation value calculation device identifies the number (A) of portable terminals whose positions are measured in any area by day and the number (B) of portable terminals whose positions are measured in a target area by day; calculates the total number (E) of sojourners in the target area in a target period by using the identified numbers and population (C) by day; identifies the unique number of portable terminals whose positions are measured in the target area in any day in the target period, as the number (F) of unique users in the target period; calculates the corrected number (I) of unique users in the target period by correcting the number (F) of unique users in the target period according to a ratio of a period in which a position of a portable terminal can be measured in any area to the target period; and calculates the number (X) of times of sojourns in the target area per person in the target period by using the corrected number (I) of unique users in the target period.
