Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a network controller to be used for an ether network so as to automatically set the next material pack address and its edge page address forward when executing remote read materials at a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION: In the case of remote read materials at the computer, a controller 20 defines the address of materials to be next collected in a receive buffer ring memory 10 as the address of the next remote read material pack and preserves these materials in a recorder 21. Next, at the time of the next material pack under remote read, the start page address of remote read material is set. When binding the remote read operation, one page of the start page address of the next remote read materials preserved originally in the recorder is referred to and read in an edge page address recorder 24, the receive buffer ring memory is opened, and the buffer preservation space of collected material pack is calculated.
