Abstract:
1-(Substd.-alkyl)-2-aralkyl-ethylene derivs. of formula R1-A1-CH=CH-Y1-A2-R2 (I) are new. (R1 is CH2OH, COOH or COOM; M is a cation; A1 is 4-8C n-alkylene; Y1 is CO or CHOH; A2 is 1-5C alkylene; and R2 is Ph, PhO or PhS, all opt. substd. by halogen, CF3, 1-4C alkyl or alkoxy). (I) are useful for the modification or synchronisation of female mammalian reproductive systems, and for controlling insects and carines (insecticide, acaricide).
